Lower Westchester

Tuckahoe

Famous for the its high quality marble, which was used in the arch in New York’s Washington Square Park, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and the Washington Monument, Tuckahoe offers excellent connectivity to New York City (only 34 minutes by MetroNorth to Grand Central). Home to the 1970’s show “Maude”, contemporary times have seen a renaissance of sorts, with major revitalization and investment evident in the town’s main streets and commercial center. With a population under 6,500, Tuckahoe offers small town charm with terrific proximity to both New York City and White Plains.
